We think you'll find that we're enjoying ourselves at St. Andrew’s  (despite some recent events) as we grow, learn and serve God, each other and the community. We are a family-friendly church with a desire to share the Good News of what God is doing in the world today. We are energetic and we take seriously our mission of Building Christians for Service.

While we as a congregation have suffered at the hand of others we should remember in our prayers the peoples of Haiti & Chile who are suffering unimaginable hardships following the recent earthquakes there. The following prayer has been given to us as being suitable for this sad time. Please use it in your personal prayer time

 

 

A Prayer for Haiti & Chile

 

O God, our refuge and strength,

we hold before you the nations and peoples of Haiti And Chile,

and pray for healing in the midst of tragedy and devastation.

 

Give comfort to the homeless, the bereaved and the suffering,

courage to survivors,

wisdom to those who seek to help,

and light to all who live in the shadow of death.

 

This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ,
